IN’P Bookends a Year of UAE Capital Markets Leadership with ADIB’s AED 1.75 Billion Rights Issue
Having raised the curtain on 2026 with Sharjah Islamic Bank’s approximately AED 2.5 billion rights issue, IN’P now leads the legal work on another major banking-sector offering scheduled for the year’s closing weeks.
IN’P IBRAHIM .N. PARTNERS (“INP”) is advising Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank PJSC (“ADIB”) as legal counsel on its upcoming rights issue, expected to raise up to AED 1.75 billion to strengthen the Bank’s capital base and support its Vision 2035 growth strategy.
The mandate brings INP’s capital markets leadership into sharp focus at both ends of the year. Having helped ignite UAE equity issuance in 2026 through Sharjah Islamic Bank PJSC’s (“SIB”) approximately AED 2.5 billion rights issue, the first UAE equity offering completed that year, INP is now leading the legal work on ADIB’s offering, with trading in the new shares scheduled to commence on 18 December 2026.
From the opening bell to the year-end curtain, INP’s signature runs through two major UAE banking-sector capital raises.
Together, the completed SIB offering and ADIB’s proposed rights issue represent approximately AED 4.25 billion in equity capital raised or targeted. These mandates underscore the firm’s leading position in UAE equity capital markets and its role in helping major financial institutions translate growth ambitions into executable transactions.
Rights trading on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange is scheduled for trading in the new shares scheduled to begin on 18 December 2026.
For INP, the connection between the two mandates extends beyond their place in the calendar. Both demonstrate the importance of experienced legal leadership in delivering substantial equity offerings for regulated banks, where corporate approvals, regulatory requirements, shareholder communications and market procedures must work together within a tightly managed timetable.
Commenting on the mandate, Ahmed Ibrahim, Managing Partner and Head of Capital Markets at IN’P IBRAHIM .N. PARTNERS, said:
“Earlier this year, we helped raise the curtain on UAE equity capital markets with Sharjah Islamic Bank’s approximately AED 2.5 billion rights issue. We are now proud to lead the legal work on ADIB’s approximately AED 1.75 billion offering as the year approaches its closing act.
“These transactions provide two powerful bookends to our capital markets work in 2026. They reflect the confidence that leading UAE banks place in INP to guide significant capital raises and deliver the legal execution on which successful offerings depend.
“If the UAE capital markets year is a stage, INP has been entrusted with helping open the doors and bringing another major transaction towards the final curtain. That position is earned through experience, judgment and consistent delivery.”
The ADIB mandate continues INP’s established record across IPOs, rights issues, block trades, mandatory takeover offers and strategic equity transactions.
Having helped set the year in motion, INP is now helping shape its finale—reinforcing its position at the gateway to some of the UAE’s most significant capital markets transactions.
